How are you all? Can’t believe Easter is behind us, May Day Bank Holiday is behind us and the best news... 2 more this month.
I have decided I prefer Easter to Christmas. Religious reasons aside, Easter is a wonderful family time without all the commercial tsunami. That said, I was unable to find a packet of Mini Eggs in 5 supermarkets on Good Friday. Upon sharing I discovered sooo many of you had the same issue. My children (not children but always will be children) went without this year.
Firstly, thank you so very much for taking the time to complete our questionnaire. The response was incredible and your answers were so so positive. Yes for sure it was not all glowing but the negatives were really insightful and will aid us moving forward.
More than anything the thing so many of you talked about was how helpful and efficient our Customer Services Team was. I can't tell you what this means to me. In today's world getting hold of a helpful Customer Service team is almost impossible and when you do it's a joy and a relief.
What shone through the most was the word “quality”. You all commented on the fact that you felt the quality was great. In addition many of you felt there wasn’t really a brand like Rae Feather. Yes for sure there were many brands that were similar but many of you felt we were quite unique.
You felt we were a very honest brand, a brand with integrity.
You like Founder/Customer interaction and have asked for more Lives and Style Sessions.
You like Style sessions with different size women and my Mum - thank you!!
Overall, very very positive and again thank you so very much.
Our next Summer collection has just dropped. A little bit of Town and Beach. So here it goes, what I have worn the most (in not so summery weather).
The Cotton Pant, a great wardrobe staple and perfect for dressing up or down. This pant is inspired by chic women. Honestly, I think of Caroline Bessette- Kennedy teaming it up with a white shirt, and a navy sweater draped over the shoulder.
The Riley Shirt, a true classic and has just launched in true navy. Navy is always chic and a good navy shirt is near impossible to find. Celine and The Row always have a simple understated Navy shirt in every collection.
The Jasmine Dress. I wore this over the Easter weekend and when it got chilly, I teamed it up with one of our Supersoft Knit Tanks. The great thing about this dress is that it will take you everywhere!
The Long Sleeve Cotton Breton Top - a great wardrobe staple and so easy to wear. Ours is made from a great quality cotton. Square shape and inspired by my personal Wardrobe Icon - Jenna Lyons.
The Isla Linen Dress - This dress is inspired by one my mother had by Jean Muir - a true classic and one you will wear for many years to come. Flattering sleeve length and whilst it is super relaxed you can add a belt for a shapely silhouette. Also comes in a fun pink for when our bodies are a little more bronzed.
Now for a few simple blouses - The Occie Embroidery Blouse - simple yet very pretty. Made from the loveliest cotton with a pretty stitch throughout. I teamed this with our Cotton Pants and it looked so fresh.
We’ve brought back The Cotton Long Sleeve Frill Shirt - maybe one of our all time best selling shapes. Again fresh and perfect with a simple jean/short or skirt.
Finally today The Throw On Cashmere Wool Cardigan. We launched it in our last Dublin Pop Up and I think 50% of stock went in 2 days. It's one we will keep as a constant as it's just so damn useful. Great for travel as it is quite a lightweight wool but as one of the customer reviews said it feels like cashmere. On that note, please have a look at our new Reviews section - really insightful.
Next drop is coming very soon - it screams of high summer. I have crept a few pics through on Instagram and have received a great response. We shot the collection in Zakynthos in collaboration with the mind blowingly beautiful Asteri Collection. Blog coming soon - watch this space.
Have a great week!!
Lots of love .
